Honor Code

A commitment to integrity, fairness, and responsible learning.

Effective from: December 1, 2024

Core Principles

Integrity

Be honest in your coursework. Submit only your own work or properly attributed content.

Fairness

Do not manipulate assessments, cheat on exams, or gain unfair advantages over peers.

No Plagiarism

Use original or AI-assisted work responsibly. Always cite sources and give proper credit.

Respect Others

Maintain constructive behavior in community spaces. Treat instructors and peers with respect.

Protect IP

Do not share, distribute, or resell paid course content. Respect intellectual property rights.

Submitting Original Work

All assignments, projects, and assessments you submit must be your own work. If you collaborate with others, clearly indicate the nature and extent of the collaboration. Copying from other students, websites, or external sources without proper attribution constitutes plagiarism.

Appropriate Use of AI Tools

AI tools can be valuable learning aids when used responsibly. You may use AI assistants to help understand concepts, brainstorm ideas, or debug code. However, submitting AI-generated content as your own without disclosure or modification is not permitted. Always review, understand, and add your own insights to AI-assisted work.

Restrictions on Copying Content

Course materials, including videos, documents, code samples, and assessments, are protected by copyright. You may not copy, download (unless explicitly allowed), share, or distribute any course content. Screenshots or recordings of course materials for sharing are strictly prohibited.

Conduct During Exams & Labs

During proctored assessments and hands-on labs, you must work independently unless group work is specified. Using unauthorized resources, communication with others, or attempting to circumvent proctoring measures is considered cheating and will result in disciplinary action.

Community Guidelines

Our community forums, discussion boards, and peer interactions should remain constructive and respectful. Personal attacks, discriminatory language, spam, and inappropriate content will not be tolerated. Help others learn by providing guidance rather than direct answers to assessment questions.
